Voting

Just as person who voted incorrectly :-) Will be good idea to add at least tooltip help to voting process (or link to help page). Ability to changing a vote (or at least confirmation of vote) will be also good idea. --EugeneZelenko 04:23, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Add support for templates

It will be very interesting to add support for templates, right now the extension save the "template variable" as a value. ^,^
Well I practically wrote the full manual at Mediawiki. Can you check why occurs this strange behavior?. I have made one test page on my wiki. Any help would be very appreciated. --Neoshinji 15:14, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to know about this strange behaviour. -- 16:06, 16 March 2009 (GMT)

Useful vs. usable

DPL and Semantic MediaWiki are fantastic tools, but I don't think people here are voting with usability in mind. They're both extremely difficult to use. [1][2]. I've used Special:DynamicPageListSP in presentations as an example of how hard MediaWiki is to use. Angela 07:22, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think Semantic MediaWiki should be considered in conjunction with Semantic Forms - this greatly improves experience of wiki (aside from Semantic part) for regular users. --Sergey Chernyshev 23:29, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
When you say that Semantic MediaWiki is "extremely difficult to use" and when you give examples of old versions of SMW, you base your argument on the wrong facts. The proposal is to check out SMW is as it is today... Compare it at least to something like this. Thanks, GerardM 08:20, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other possibilities

This page at Meta lists a number of WYSIWYG editors. I think you're off to a great start with the existing list, and it may well be that you're already listed all the editors that really need to be considered, but this Meta page does seem to have some that aren't on the list. Browsers

Maybe it should be noted somewhere that this doesn't work with IE7, I haven't had a chance to test it on IE8 or one of the older ones so it may be all IEs. I thought the whole page was broken until I opened FF2 a few days after first seeing the page. Stepshep 21:16, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This has been fixed now. Thanks for the report! Trevor Parscal 19:51, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MultiUpload

A multi upload would be very useful ;) Nothing stable available but it should be coded finally.

Advanced search

I don't know whether such an exstension exists, but it would be very useful to add a real advanced search page like the one used by search engines, othrwise it is very difficult to use even the features listed in a newbie-oriented help page like en:Wikipedia:Searching#Wikipedia_search, e.g. exact phrase, boolean search, intitle:, prefix:, fuzzy and wildcard queries, incategory: (when it will be deployed)... --Nemo 19:20, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
