From Wikipedia Usability Initiative

Wikipedia Usability Initiative team is planning on coordinating four releases with the core MediaWiki development team from July 2009 till March 2010. Each release is named after the names of tropical fruits in alphabetical order.

This release is currently deployed as a user preference on all Wikimedia Project sites.

Targeted features...

• Tab reorganization
• Edit toolbar improvements
• Relocated search box
• Improved search interface
• General aesthetic improvements
• Opt-in/Opt-out switch and survey

This release is currently in development and staged on prototype wikis.

The main features of this release are:

• Navigable Table of Contents
• Dialogues for;

This release is currently being planned.

The main features of this release are:

• Folding of tables and templates
• Syntax highlighting of wiki-text during editing
• Simplified search-box and improved search-suggestions for the Vector skin
